Video Card problem update

try swapping the two PCI cards ....first and see what happens

I switched the cards. When booting the system found both devices and installed the drivers. The problem comes when I go to enable both monitors. When click OK at the Display Properties-Settings screen everything freezes. ALT-CNTL-DEL shows that Msgsrv32 is not responding. I tried rebooting a couple times but this kept happening. I believe that if I remove the new TNT2 card again everything will work fine like before.

EDIT: I just removed the new card again, and the computer is back to normal.

there should be NO little yellow question marks
I checked this before going into the Display Properties and there were no exclamation or question marks.

I'm about ready to throw these cards off my 14th floor balcony and buy a two-port card ;-)

I guess I should try removing that patch, although i'm not even sure how. It said I would need the Win98 CD to do it, which I do.

Anymore suggestions?
Dustin
