Dak:

This thread is nutso. I had meetings all day and came back in tonight to find several hundred posts since last night. (g)

I posted yesterday that I had added NVDA to my "core" group. I lied. Yes, I did add it, no I did not keep it. When Mr. Market is kind enough to whack one of my picks for close to ten bucks after I have held it for 18 hours, it gets an "auto-punt". (VBG) And to provide the icing, that crazy stock then moves back up a few bucks from my punt point, thus becoming a probable near-term candidate for re-installation in the aforementioned "core" group. I love the smell of burning share certs in the morning. (g)

On another note, I ruthlessly cleaned out the stable this a.m. Booked small but delightful profits. Back down to a thinned out "core" situation. I intend to remain a spectator here in the weeds for a bit as I expect that almost any excuse will trigger a big rally. If I am wrong, I can always rejoin the fray (as has been the case a few times of late), but will not do so unless the motivation is intense. It has been a truly remarkable March. (g)

It is burned into my cerebral cortex that bear market rallies are VIOLENT and SHORT and that markets never go straight up or straight down.

Best, Earlie
