E! Some other aspects of why I'm buying: Here's an extract (and the full link) from a "Red Herring article:
"...one third of the upward move has occurred in the first two weeks of the rebound, and 45 percent of the gains in the first five weeks. "If you blink, you miss it," he says.
The moral of the story? Do not try to time the market. Stay invested through the downturn, or you might lose the juiciest part of a rebound. Those investors who unnecessarily tinker with their holdings always end up with poor-performing portfolios. And, to quote Mr. William Shakespeare,
"But O, how bitter a thing it is to look into happiness through another man's eyes.""

Of course, I do everything possible to time the market, and no way will I ride through the downturn....but "other than that..."..<GG>
Market should start up within the week......imho <g>
