JohnD: "Interesting comments by Ralph Acampora on tonight's Nightly Business Report " Sounds like he doesn't think INTC will make $0.20 in Q1 either...No matter, though, as the INTC PR machine is already at work painting a rosey future...Their primary objective over the next 2 weeks is to convine INTC investors that 12 to 18 months out looks so bright that one need not concern oneself with current dismal financial performance (i.e. Q1 weakness)...If I were a betting man, I'd guess INTC's PR dep't will be successful in meeting its primary objective...Hence, one might make the case that yesterday was the bottom for INTC and AMD, caught up in (and for no compelling fundamental reason) the INTC/tech weakness spillover effect!!!
