Don't blame the liberals for CA energy mess Environmentalists forced the shutdown of one of the San Onofre generators and the Arroyo Seco (I think it's called that) due to fear of nuclear. The power lost from these two alone (enough for 3 million homes) would have provided enough electricity to avoid the recent blackouts.
