Scum, Just one of the cubby holes in the investment picture. The total market picture consists of many cubby holes. If you put everything you have in just one of those cubby holes, it is almost certain you will lose. The tech stocks shot up like a rocket. It is only natural that many pieces of that rocket will fall from the sky. The weak will fade away into oblivion, and the strong will start the building of a more realistic technological market. Then the total market will stabilize. This sort of thing has happened before. Remember the by-word, think plastics??
