I think, by now, most of us understand the Chinese point of view about the current incident. Likewise, we understand the American point of view. We are also smart enough to know that there is some distance between what is said in the press and what is said behind closed doors.

That said, I am quite interested in moving toward a solution. Clearly neither country is about to give in on all issues, nor is a military "solution" a solution at all.

What I want to know is, what do the enlightened minds on this thread see as a way for both countries to put this behind us and come out CDMA-ing?
