Kevin, You should check the history books you have been reading for accuracy. FDR, was not making any progress to turn the economy around from depression until the war started, and the concessions he made to Stalin at Yalta were responsible for the beginning of the cold war. Had a firm approach been taken with Stalin at that meeting a lot of things would have been different. Russia could not have forced themselves upon Europe without those concessions. They made Churchill sick.
