I see nothing compelling about the $44 dollar area. I see the young girl from Crouching Tiger poised just overhead ready to whack the Q ugly with funky kung-fu. If it closes the week at $50 then I would think about buying some.

What to buy? Anything that was/is at support. Look at JNPR. It's fallen straight down and ended yesterday right on a nice floor. This is what you wanted to look for. It has no ballast; wants to float and float it will in this tide.
