This is a blow to those who argue that services are just fine and rip roaring right along. That the services sector is immune to recession and that this slowdown is merely an inventory correction/manufacturing affair. nytimes.com The invincible services sector is now skidding perilously close to recession, even after 150 basis points of cuts by the fed.
