Mike, I hear what you are saying and I do largely agree. All those matters you mentioned are unproven in a legal sense and I am relying on hearsay for some of my statements. However, you are commiting the very same errors when you mention Felderhof - just because he was involved in the discovery of a major mine proves nothing. I understand that he was just at the right place at the right time - so it comes down to your sources having a diffent opinion from my sources. He may well have been fairly competent as a geologist but this isn't saying much. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link - there are plenty of people who are compentent at their jobs but have all sorts of character defects.

When it comes to your statement regarding Bre-X employees in Indonesia. What about De Guzman? Any catholic filipino who is (was) a bigamist is(was) obviously seriously disturbed. He was very religious wasn't he (evidence from family members) Wouldn't bigamy be a major social disgrace (and wouldn't he probably go to jail in the Phillipines?). It is possible (a wild guess on my part) that De Guzman was not involved in the scam and suicided because he came under investigation and was fearful that his double life would come out (as I said, I recognise this is just a wild guess). Any man who has five+ wives is some sort of a nut.
