Chinese have an axe to grind, helping them is like helping German's in the 30's. They are no friend of the west, they have killed tens of thousands of Americans in KOREA where America was standing up for a Democracy. Co-interdependence helps them more then US. What do we need more trade imbalances in ASIA? Do we need to spend more on defense to protect JAPAN and KOREA. Frankly the USA should isolate CHINA. They steel IPR tech all the time. Eventially they will steel CDMA. Then what will USA do to protect its interests as CHINA sells USA protected technology.
