hey I'm not baiting you or anything. TA is something I vaguely understand. I get the basics, but haven't taken the time to get much more. My question (which I still think is a legit question) was "was TA successful in '29 or Nikkei during the meltdown phase"? I'm not speaking of you here, but it seems TA hasn't worked very well the past year and has only gotten worse. I know what you're going to say, it's bulls that want to be bullish so they make the chart bullish and aren't being objective with an open mind. I'd agree with that. I'm suggesting more that possibly a trendline that would take significant time to break, or would hold can now be taken out in a matter of days, as if support was never there. gotta run....
