I don't claim to know much about financing at all, so perhaps this question is not appropriate. But if this is a deal where basically the company is selling stock, why go through all the trouble of having Waveland as a front for it - why not just register the 20 million shares with the SEC and then sell the shares on the market or through private placements directly from the company? What benefit does this equity line of credit give to PNLK over a method such as that? I am still trying to figure out if this is a good deal or a bad deal for PNLK, and for investors.
