Tom, Can you post the article on the Bordic? Or give us direction on
where to read it?

If the "removable hard drive" description, $200-300 intro price in 9/96,
and specs you posted are all correct, the harddisks as we know it will no
longer exist and WDC and the Nordic will dominate the hard drive industry.
But something just don't add up in your post.

I find it very hard to believe that anyone can produce and sell a 1Gig removable
harddrive at this time in the $200-300 range, especially folks like WDC who
doesn't have much experience in design/manufacture of removable drives and
disks. Sound to me the Nordic is a portable hard drive, not a removable harddisk
drive as you indicated.

I will post your message on AOL MF. I am sure folks over there will have
an answer very quickly.

(This is where interactive forums are great over the news media. Folks can
post rumours, misleading or erroneous info as often as they want, but they
are always quickly countered and corrected by the vast number of real
experts on the net. So in the end the truth always come out quite quickly.
People who don't have access to the net do not have this luxury.
Please don't take offense, I don't mean to say that you intentionally post
misleading info.)
