All nations operate in what they perceive to be their best interests. If there was a Chinese army advancing through Tiajuana under the command of an out of control general, I think the U.S. would take action. The West does not run Asia any longer. China, India, Indonesia, Indo-China, Pakistan, Iran etc. is where the economic growth and power will shift over the next few decades. We must be careful not to isolate ourselves. Nokia , Alcatel, Erricson, Philips, Siemens are in the wings watching and hoping that we screw up. Jim
