Art, do you think they can retain the necessary expertise?

If you mean from a business perspective, I think (but I have not checked their existing contracts), that they are somewhat immune to local wireless slumps. What we are seeing now is a very global hangover in wireless. As Arthur C. Clark says people overestimate technology in the near term but underestimate it in the long term. When people realize that changing jobs to amass pre-ipo shares is not the path to riches, when people focus on their work and become more productive, after they have paid off their margin debt, sometime 16 months from now, then maybe we will begin to see markets in general turnaround and this one in particular.

If you mean churn, then keep in my mind that one of the US's best kept secret is a very large talent pool of cheap highly educated engineers...who are very loyal...because the labor market is driven by guys (unfortunately not many gals) a few years out of engineering school who are trying to get their green cards the application of which is rarely transferable from company to company. I have many, many colleagues who would not entertain better offers in the industry because they want their green card first.
