I am just learning about TA and am curious about whether TRIX (derivative of triple exp MA of price) had turned positive just before the last run we saw from the 17's.

Also, you say that the NVI (negative vol index) is telling you nothing right now but surely the price has risen today on decreased volume. Is that not an indicator of the "smart money" taking postions in IOM.

These are honest questions as I am just trying to see if TA does work on seemlingly awkward stocks like IOM, or has the past been too erratic for TA.
