Index- Your articles are very good summaries of what is going on in the wired access(last mile) world. Nothing we haven't been reading for years I'm afraid to say. If we were allowed to pay $50 or $60/month for cable modem AND another $10/month for VOD, I bet you the MSOs would go crazy rolling it out. Same with ADSL. Too many liberals/consumer action groups would scream bloody murder to congress and congress in turn would threaten the service providers if prices were raised to cover costs. Seems consumers want it both ways and could be what has put a big damper on capex. Very much like "DSL hell" that Cadogan (former CEO of ADC Telecom) describes upstream. -MikeM(From Florida)
