Jon, If each flash cart holds 20MB, and you have a grand to blow on the whole gig, I might agree. One of the things I always disliked about photography is that I have to pay for my mistakes. This makes me take fewer pix.

Q. Will the average person's picture taking habits change because they no longer have to pay for their mistakes?

I think it will. Flash is too expensive to allow this. Especially at higher resolutions. I won't buy a digital camera until it can store at least XGA resolution in 24 bit color. Even compressed, that's not many pix on a 20MB flash cart, or n-hand. Thus I believe cheap is very important - so I can make many hi-res mistakes, and not miss those beautiful shots on account of having to "save film".
