Good idea, because you will always have idiots shooting you down for sticking your neck out and saying something that has the possibility of being wrong no matter how many qualifiers you put in front of it. OTOH you've probably had almost as many people tell you you were right about things you predicted. Even some that fought long and hard against what you were saying, when you were saying it. I guess that doesn't make up for all the detractors though does it? Enemies accumulate and if you want to make yourself safe from ridicule and criticism, then it's best not to say anything that can be used against you in the future. This way they can ultimately shape how you behave, and that's a good thing, right?
