John, <... our metro Detroit local computer show. All the vendors were advertising for K6 but had the word "K6" crossed out on their advertisement flyers. These mom-and-pop computer shops have not received a single functioning K6 until then. One vendor even told me that he received k6 several weeks ago and had to return them because of defects...> For your information, there have been very similar reports about returns of first MMX Pentiums, when the illiterate mom-and-pop vendors had no clue which side of CPU to plug into their mobos, and how to correctly drive the BF pins. As I told you, your metro Detroit area is only good at selling used tires.
< I really question AMD's claim. > With this kind of aggressive questioning do not forget to watch your portfolio, othewise next time you may find your Intel's shares worth a wallpaper on your restroom.
