Dis-honesty is my biggest disappointment with our culture in America. PC seems more important to most, particularly the dems. The dems seem to justify it as "something we all do" and a normal part of life. Kevin Rose seems to have some good intentions (although mis-guided imo), but to him dis-honesty is an admirable quality in a leader.

Don't get me wrong, there are reasons to lie within government, but they should be lies that protect lives or national security. Also, saying someone "looks nice" or some other innocuous white lie is not what I am talking about regarding the truth. A good leader should be forthright with the American people about issues (like the economy) that effect us. You don't need to lie to the American people so you can get the result you would like (very Clintonish imo). Be straightforward and discuss in a positive way how we can resolve the issue. Then you will have respect and be able to sleep at night.

What I still cannot figure out about Clinton supporters is how they can tell whether he is lying or not. Once one is shown to be a pathological liar then I do not trust them on anything. How can you? Per Kevin's post, I guess with some it is if it is what you want to hear, then it must be ok.
