>>a bounce off a trend line<< What trendline, Lee? <<<<

Tough to say without showing it but can't do that either. Our indicator is in chart form and follows channels. If the channel is down, then the trend is down and vice versa same as any TA. Bounces occur as the channel limits are hit but these bounces generally follow trend thus a downtrending indicator channel that has a bounce off the bottom usually results in a smaller move than teh bounce back down off of the top of the channel.

However when a major move is about to happen, the channel gets violated for a day and the resulting reversal is much larger than normal. A large violation often results in a major change of trend. I was hoping for violation trigger or else a major violation to signal a major trend change for a counter trend rally. Since it didn't come, while anything is possible, this rally should not be sizable enough to make a mid term trade to the long side like would have been signalled by a better buy trigger.

Today wasn't bad though. -gggg-

Good Luck,

Lee
