Next week, Elantec will meet its revised forcast of around $32M in sales. They should be able to say that revenues will grow again in the June Q. The new CPE DSL line drivers start shipping in May. That could add a few million to sales. CD-RW will be up in the June Q, and the central office DSL line drivers have been on fire. Flat pannel displays and DC/DC chips should at least hold their own.

CD-RWs attached rate for PCs was about 45% at the end of 2000. With the price cuts that happened last month, that should grow more quickly..........................

Price drops are almost routine in the world of CD-Rewritable drives. But our new Best Buy--the Creative Labs CD-RW Blaster 12-10-32, which has never made the Top 5 chart before now--undercuts the competition with a $100 price drop since last month, and now sells for a bargain price of $150.............

PC growth for 2001 pegged above 10%...................
