I am surprised that the US plane would choose to land on Chinese soil also. I would think they would have had orders to land in the sea before landing where they did. You aren't the only one to be surprised by this. Why the H didn't they just bail out, or ditch the plane at sea? Sorry to be crass about it, but soldiers are supposed to die for their country when necessary. I'm sure this isn't being raised publicly for now because we don't have our people back. But when the do get back, I expect an inquiry and possibly court martial.
