I called and talked to Helen West today for a few minutes as I had several questions unanswered
in my mind. The answers listed below are paraphrased by me, so if there are any inaccuracies, they're
mine. I asked more questions than this. AS I was not able to write down much of anything , the
answers may seem short or incomplete and that too is my doing. There were several things she
could not disclose due to the 'quiet period'.

~ With Revco being bought out by CVS, was that account affected?
ANS...The same people we dealt with before, we are still dealing with. No change in status as
far as Franklin knows. They still call and order parts, wires, etc.

~ Has Franklin lost any major customers or had any significant reduction of orders from any?
ANS...No.

~ Has Franklin been affected by the recent curb of access to ISP's from the backbone services?
ANS... No. Mostly small ISPs are affected and this should make Franklin's services more enticing.

~ When can we expect to see the 3rd Quarter Report?
ANS...We will probably see it for the first time when the SEC releases the approved S-1. Might see
the Annual Report as soon as late JULY as many of the numbers are already accounted.

~ In the S-1, Comcast is listed as a competitor. Is Franklin involved with cable and does the deal between
MSFT and Comcast affect Franklin?
ANS...(Something like)...Can't say too much. No, that deal doesn't directly affect Franklin.

~ Has FNET had to adjust their corporate access rates down due to competition?
ANS...No.

~ What is the status of the CYCLONE?
ANS...She thought that they had just worked out a bug and everything looked good. Frank had not
wanted to release any until they were perfect. Concentrating on the 56k's.

~ With the price of FTEL dropping (and sitting) below $3, how does this affect a Nasdaq listing?
ANS...Not for sure. I believe it is an averaging thing. I'll have to check on that.

~ In the S-1, who is the 'significant customer' (for the ACP_186) stated for the 6 months ending 12/96 and are they still ordering?
ANS...If the S-1 doesn't naame this customer, I had better not either. Yes, they are still ordering.

~ What's happening with the voice server?
ANS...It shouldn't be very long before they can demonstrate this. Should be a key thing to watch for as
it should be soon thereafter when the FNET IPO is initiated.

~ Who are they demontrating it to?
ANS...Sorry.

~ Do most small ISP's know what Franklin offers? And how do you market to the industry.
ANS...Advertise in BOARDWATCH. Sales calls to potential Corporate clients. No direct mailings because
of the attrition rate among small ISP's.

~ How is the project with AT&T field engineers going?
ANS...Still testing.

~ Do you have a signed contract with Ratheon ?
ANS...Not for sure but they did get a request from Ratheon to copy their tech manuals which would seem to
be a positive sign.
