Hi!!

RE: As long as they don't cut into my NTAP's margins!!

It was two years ago today that I attended a post Spring Analyst meeting in NYC gaining a chance to once again visit and chat with some of the management and potential clients of DELL...What I came away with was a lasting impression from talking with DELL's business customers that actually pulled the levers on the large IT spending for their corporations...SB, let me tell you...They sounded more bullish than me! :o) Well almost.. :O) Kevin Rollins introduced me to one of these IT managers and what truly amazed me was the future business that XON would do with DELL when they get the various partnerships and services aligned...It is from this rather long conversation that I drew my conclusion that: You can't afford not to do business with DELL...
It won't happen over night...But, then anything worth doing must take time and organization...Another reason why I was happy to have Mort stay on the board and also for DELL to acquire the services of Jim Vanderslice...And, surely it doesn't hurt to have the most experienced CEO in the business who just happened to turn 36!!

Best, Kemble
