Heart attacks and smokes Every once in a while my ticker does something weird. The symptons mimick a heart attack.But even though it has every signature of an attack it isn,t one. The docs are not quite sure what is going on but they are convinced I have one of best hearts they have seen in years. One of the things that helps is exercise. Hense all my hiking (I hate running ) .Anyway here is a couple of points to mull over. A 40 someyear old who is sitting in his hospital bed crying for his doctor because he is dieing and knows that he will never leave the hospital again. The guy was a smoker and would not quit. The image has stuck with me for years. His doctor happened to let slip the comment to me " Arogent bastard, I tried for years to get him to quit smoking and now he wants me to hold his hand while he dies" A 60 year old guy pushing one of those oxygen tanks on wheels outside,he takes off the mask and has a smoke.The image is just too funny. Then there was the time I was hooked up to some darn machine and the nurse says "hey come check this out" I have a hundred other little glimpses into the crap ya have to go through if your ticker starts marchin to its own beat but not for this thread at this time. Bottom line guys if you can avoid the trips by the simple action of quiting smokin do it. Do you really want to feel the warm rush of radio active slush running through your whole body? TEK.B -It has now tagged that 15.50 level 3 times without breaking through.( I am not sure if it actualy has to trade at 15.50 to be a true test or not) Some TAs would say that having not broken through one should sell. BUT it looks poised to try a breakout tomorrow. I am going to place a sell order on the off chance that it will break out tomorrow and then pull back. FN- that last news announcement needs some DD. Does anybody know anything about the company that they got the 140 million shares from ? IDO-I am starting to get interested but can I afford it? Maybe if I sell some Teck.Does look like it is being set up for a run but I maybe seeing things. lots of odd action out there. I posted this on another thread and everyone avoided it. Are we going to experience the cups half empty syndrone that kicks in part way through most years. regards ralfph
