Meyerson upgrades to Strong Buy

BOULDER, Colo.--(BW HealthWire)--June 9, 1997--Colorado MEDtech Inc.
(NASDAQ: CMED), a Boulder-based medical products and services company, today
announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, RELA Inc., has entered into a
contract with Xylum Corp. to produce the CSA(R) Clot Signature Analyzer.
The initial production order is valued at approximately $1.5 million.
"We believe our experience in developing and producing automated diagnostic
instruments was key in Xylum's selection of RELA," said John V. Atanasoff,
president and chief executive officer. "This contract is another opportunity
for us to provide advanced medical technologies to the healthcare industry,
and we are excited about our relationship with Xylum."
Xylum Corp., based in Scarsdale, N.Y., is a leader in the development of
flow technology for assessing hemostasis and coagulation. Xylum's CSA(R)
system is for use in major university, hospital and pharmaceutical research
centers.
Colorado MEDtech is an integrated custom product development and
manufacturing services company specializing in the design, development and
manufacture of electronic and electromechanical products and software systems
for the medical device industry.
