neither did the management. remember, LU was one of the most widely held stocks, everyone who owned the original T, or bought T after the break up of the baby bells, got LU in the distribution. With so much stock around, and being such a poor performer, there was tons of shares to sell, which were dumped from portfolios as no one wanted to show they owned it. larry
