Adam, my impression is Microsoft is having a tougher time holding on to talent then Intel is. But, perhaps Intel has more faith their stock will climb back then Microsoft does. We'll just have to wait and see... I imagine these type of strategic decisions are very difficult to make. Balancing the needs of employees, with the needs of every stake-holders is a tough science.
