Rick, A question for you! What is the significance of the NIH providing a doctor a million dollar grant? What is the history of these "investments"? Is this more like a case of them having money and wanting to spread it around to various entities...hoping that they might hit on a successful drug? Is the approval process very strenuous? My interest was peaked today with such a grant to a doctor working on an angiogenesis inhibitor drug that is in pre-clinicals. Any salient information will be appreciated.
