Paul C. Thanks for your comment. Technically I don't contribute much, but it is fun to keep in touch with this group of investors, many of whom I have met at the Intel stockholder's meeting. Should be coming up in May. Does anyone know the date for the Intel stockholder's meeting? Please no tears! Despite being down by a factor between 1.2689 and 1.26810 (10.75 and 13.62) from the lofty highs that my portfolio hit a year ago, I must compute another figure to stem your tears from staining your tablecloth. My 11 year portfolio now stands at a yearly average compounded return of 24%. Not really too bad!? A year ago my yearly average compounded return for 10 years was 58%, and I had planned to join the billionaires club in a few more years.<vbg> "That dream has ended..."(Nat King Cole sang it). What am I belly aching about. My wife and I are healthy, and so are all our children and our grandchildren. When you see the conditions that people live in around the world, we have much to be thankful for. Isn't life great!...humble carl
