Your comparison of today to 1930 is one more piece of evidence of bears' overexhuberant irrationality, just like bashing stocks at the bottom and predicting LU will go bankrupt, all the same "sky is falling" mentality. Today's action blasted that mentality to pieces though a few more big blasts are necessary to prove that shorting techs now is a very costly decision.
