Ciena is compared to Microsoft in an erronous manner. Microsoft controls software, as Intel control the CPU. Thge hardware, however, is anybody's game. IBM, DELL, CPQ, Micron electronics, etc, etc, etc. Big and small, the list goes on and on. Hardware is how I see Ciena. They have good products now, but Lucent also has good products and deeper pockets. I've followed CIEN since you first made mention of it on a feww months back. My problem is I'm out of margin captial because of BAANF, which I shorted back 10 points earlier.
What is your opinion on why VVUS is up again. Did someone push up a pellet, or is this just greed and hope in anticipation of the 2 for 1 split??.
