Italy Arrests 5 North Africans Suspected of Bin Laden Ties
By ALESSANDRA STANLEY partners.nytimes.com
Excerpt:
Italy is in the midst of a bitter election campaign, and the arrests quickly entered the political debate, one reason the government highlighted the arrests so prominently. Mario Borghezio, a legislator from the Northern League, a right-wing party that is campaigning against illegal aliens, particularly from Muslim countries, seized on the arrests to sound an alarm.
``If the crisis in the Middle East worsens suddenly are we sure that the urban ghettos of the Muslim illegal aliens, now filled with mosques and religious centers, won't transform into so many nests of Arab terrorism?'' __________________
The above is a footnote to your comment:
Expect the Euro Army and Russian storm troopers to participate in joint military exercises pretty soon? .....the backdrop will likely be an urban rebel environment?

The Euro-Russian joint wargame scheduled this Summer will be pitched as a mere "police exercise" (carding swarthy guys and the like...) --hence its codename: To Protect & to Serve....
