I think there is a very good chance that judging stocks by the good old Graham and Dodd standards of dividends, book value, and p/e will return with a vengeance over the next few years. So Cisco will return to the 40s, provided its book value increases by a factor of 10, its earnings by a factor of 8 and starts paying a dividend of around $2 per share -- that will be $14 billion a year, about 4 times its current EBITDA.
