That actually wasn't half bad from Davis. He has finally examined all the options and has finally realized the obvious solution is the only one. Rates must go up. It will unfortunately be a major hit for California manufacturing. I expect a lot will leave the state or fold, leaving most of the employees behind.

If they get the rate hikes in soon, which they won't, demand MIGHT drop enough to get the state through the summer with only sporadic blackouts.

Sounds like Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante wants to be the next governer. His recent statements have been catering to the socialists. He can afford to since he doesn't have to solve the problem. What a worm.
