Surprised that unemployment is only 4.3%. Seems corporations are holding off on layoffs as long as they can and we have a ways to go to get to the depths of a real recession. It's a painful drag for a nation that barely a year ago saw every economic statistic as fine and dandy. Was interested in a house that appeared in yesterday's paper. Called the RE agent yesterday and he said it's sold already. 'had two bids both at or above offer. RE market in Twin Cities is still a seller's market. Credit is still loose. If RE caves, it's going to cave hard because there are NO warning signs over here.
