Things iv'e learned.
When people get beaten down long enough.
they just stop listening.
They either give up.
shrivel up and die.
Or they totally become immune.
It's like the prisoners of war.
The dudes you hear about.
that lived years in solitary confinement.
You hear those guys stories.
And you have to be amazed.
by the stamina.
and wonder of the human spirit.
It's just all pretty amazing.
to me.
