RA'ANANA, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 5, 2001

NICE Systems (NASDAQ:NICE)

Plans Call for Extending NICE's Digital Recording Technology To

Four More Facilities in 2001

NICE Systems (NASDAQ:NICE), a worldwide leader of multimedia digital recording solutions, applications and related professional services for
business interaction management, today announced that Internap Network Services Corporation, the leading provider of intelligent routing services
over the Internet, has successfully deployed NiceVision, NICE's advanced digital video and audio recording solution, at seven facilities throughout the
United States.

NiceVision provides continuous video surveillance and recording at Internap's "collocation" facilities, which serve to provide space for its customers'
Internet equipment. Current plans call for expansion of NiceVision surveillance to four additional Internap facilities in the US this year. The systems
were sold through STG (Security Technologies Group), an authorized NICE systems integrator.

"When customers are looking for space in our collocation facilities, they are essentially looking for three things: uninterrupted power, a robust network
and a secure environment," said Tom Gardner, Manager of Facilities Security at Internap. "Because security is such a critical part of the service we
provide, our customers need to be 100 percent assured that their assets are extremely well protected--we're talking about literally millions of dollars
worth of equipment. And that doesn't even take into consideration the value of all the data that flows through each of the facilities."

For Internap, CCTV is a large component of the overall security picture. Gardner continued, "When looking to go digital with our CCTV system a few
years back, together with Security Technologies Group, we assessed where we wanted to go, what we wanted for our customers and what the market
demanded. We chose the NiceVision system because of its reliability, picture quality, ease of operation, and due to its excellent tape-management
capabilities, there's no need for manual intervention. This is extremely important for us because we want to strictly limit handling the equipment and
the number of people who need to be on the floor at the facility." Another key NiceVision system feature for Internap is the accessibility of visual
information from the LAN and WAN. "I really like the fact that I can see exactly what's happening in our Houston location from Atlanta."

Four more facilities are slated for installation of the NiceVision product this year. "We've decided to standardize on NiceVision, because the product
truly meets our needs in terms of its reliability and high quality, and because NICE is highly credible in the marketplace. The NICE employees are also
a huge part of the reason we're so pleased; the service is exceptional and the team is highly responsive NiceVision is really everything we expected it
to be. What's more, our customers are impressed by the NICE product and the way we've used it in our facilities. All in all, I'd say NiceVision is
exceptional."

Eli Gororvici, NICE Vice President of Global Sales for the VIM Division, said: "Telecommunications and Internet facilities are proving to be an ideal
market segment for NiceVision. These collocation facilities sub-lease space which places customers, sometimes even competitors, within close
proximity to one another. In this situation, security is a very significant part of the package companies like Internap sell to their customers. Internap
is a very high profile installation for us in a growing and increasingly important market. We're pleased they chose NiceVision and we look forward to
the challenge of providing digital video and audio management to a company with such high demands."

NiceVision is a digital video recording system that enables monitoring, archiving, and retrieval of video data for closed circuit television (CCTV)
networks. The system provides high motion digital video and audio recording along with simultaneous playback. NiceVision is designed for
organizations that use multiple CCTV cameras in one or more locations.
