If you get a good answer would you share it? Actually, I think the biggest problem, from a nearsighted view, is that the best reason to buy into the mrkt now is that it is looking pretty low. The problem is that as soon as that seems compelling, it looks like if you wait it will get lower. I think there are a lot of investors that would get in big now if their only choice was to invest now or wait twelve months to get in. When we get closer to the end of the summer slump and to the beginning of the rate cut effects filtering through the econ there will be a much more compelling reason to invest. Part of the problem seems to be the "qtr view" mentality the fund investors have. There are all kinds of time lines for all kinds of investors and maybe when we get all of them looking positive at the same time we will fly for a while. Or maybe it really is a fear that the econ can still crumble. Just ramblin. Ed
