Skeeter, I think you are suffering from bug's complex. I respect all life including bugs -g- As you know I think hedonics is balderdash but the vaildity of hedonics does not change the salient point that NO OTHER industrial nation on earth uses hedonics as a result all comparisons between the US and other nations are distorted. The Bundesbank, OECD, the British and Japanese gov't statisticians all concur that hedonics overstates GDP growth and productivity when compared to nations that do not use hedonics. Moreover, it distorts historic comparisons with past US statistics. The impact of hedonics has increased since the mid 90's . Just thought i would help out a bug in distress -g- HO HO HO Hedonics is poppycock! Mike
