Since Star Fleet just made up the Prime Directive, it never seemed to be a problem that they always ignored it when it suited them. When the Self is the prime director, any Prime Directives are simply, self referencing, and therefore meaningless. "One autonomous entity doesn't barge in and impose itself on another autonomous entity. Period." Sure they do, if they want to. Who's to say otherwise? Btw congratulations on your new life of leisure. Perhaps you'll take a pottery class. I fire pots for a gentleman who took up pottery at 65. He's now in his mid 80's and doing great.
