Stomp, seems there's at least 1 rumor everyday. Today's special is on the Fed. Of course if there's no cut after lunch (and I don't think there'll be one), markets will sell off again.

Regards,

Tom

12:12 ET Cisco Systems (CSCO) 13 5/8 -1 5/16: -- Update -- With so many in the
telecom/networking world already having fallen (EXTR, FDRY, BRCD, TLAB, RBAK, NT), traders
scanning the list of cos that have not warned. Much speculation that Cisco will be next, with many
seeing the possibility of a Monday warning and some talking about a 30% sequential revenue decline
for Cisco; current consensus calls for 15% decline. Note, however, that Cisco's quarter ends April,
not March, so a warning might await further info on the qtr.

12:07 ET Fed Rumors : Not surprising to see this: market ticks up as rumors that Fed will cut rates
today make the rounds. Briefing.com still sees an intermeeting cut, but Fed doesn't like to tie their
actions to any one economic release, so a move today is not a good bet; probability of a move
increases significantly next week.
