Hi Kerry, Are you using the CD-Rom version or on-line? I don't know if their on-line version has the same consistent screens that the Index Section in paper always has. That's where I pull out some data for my own market indicators.

One I call the Best/Worst Index which measures a type of market speculation. Page 33 of the Index shows the 41 best and worst stocks in VL for the last thirteen weeks. It's great for watching for sector shifts and also signs of speculation. Here's what it looks like by my methods:
aim-users.com

Right now it's telling me that there's too much speculative activity for the market to truly show "capitulation." It wouldn't be impossible to screen for that same data either on-line or via the CD-ROM, but the paper version is so handy and the library is directly across the street from my office!

VL has always been a bit slow to change those 3-5 year forecast numbers. For the new initiate it can be somewhat misleading, I'm sure!

Best regards, Tom
