I've owned a few of those in the past. This is a perennial I'll have to look it up for the time. In the winter it has stalks. In the summer, it is covered with purple flowers. It can get quite large if you don't prune it back. It has won the perennial of the year award. Just can't recall the herb! (grin). Sorry! I'll look for the name though.
