You seem to credit me with knowing more than I really do. In the case of Goebbels I was lucky in that I happened to see a TV clip about him and I remembered something from it.
It seems to me rightly or wrongly that Hitler, the "illegitimate" son of a lowly servant woman, was somehow destined to wreak great havoc to teach us all, the good and the bad, a most telling lesson we won't ever forget. I saw in a black-and-white war documentary movie that Hitler fortuitously escaped death in WW1, and for bravery in action he was decorated with the Iron Cross (1st Class). There is no doubt that besides his gift of spell-binding oratory he possessed a great insight of mass psychology and mastery of deceitful strategy. This is very evident in his Mein Kampf (My Struggle) in which we can read about his anti-semitic sentiments, his worship of power, disdain for morality and his strategy for world domination. He was also a superb master of Machiavellian politics. Well, it seems no accident that a person so "gifted" and surrounded by just the right set of circumstances was most probably intended by some Higher Force (be it good or bad (probably bad) to serve out some seemingly incomprehensible nefarious purpose. I know many will say this is a hideous or a warped thought!
I have not heard of George Busch ever having been involved with gun running in the Congo. Perhaps in this part of the world, such 'news' would be just a laughable matter and won't be considered newsworthy. Obviously, that story concocted by the ex-Soviets was intended to discredit Busch where it mattered. By the way, did you hear about Busch's family tree which shows some connection with English Royalty in centuries past?
With regards to William Jefferson Clinton, I have not heard of his having been tutored by Jesuits. He was a Rhodes scholar in England where he might have had discussions and debates with other scholars including Jesuitical characters. Clinton has been a consummate politician! That's why he is nicknamed, "Slick". From what I have read, it would appear that his days in the White House are numbered. If he is ever impeached, the stockmarket will plummet and ruin lots of investors pdq (i.e. pretty damned quick). Maybe the stockmarket is contrived to go up, up and up so that investors will be averse or hostile to anything that will upset their apple cart! Signs of Slick at work?
Sorry, I don't know enough about the Scandinavian countries. Yes, I have heard of their high taxes and their socialism which doesn't seem to work well enough. If anything, it seems that Socialism has put into existence state welfarism which tends to make lots of people lazy and non-productive. I am not surprised the "blondies" from Scandinavia (and UK) want state welfarism in Australia to be what they had been accustomed to back in their home countries. It is remarkable that not a few people think that the world owes them a living! Perhaps it might interest you to know that in SE Asia, Singapore has done away with doles/handouts a long time ago because it does not wish to "slide down the slippery slope of state welfarism."
Well, I guess I'd better stop here. Otherwise there will some larrikins that will start reminding me this is the Bre-X thread intended solely for discussion on mining stocks and nuttin' else!
Regards.
