Sunny I live in North Monterey County in an area called Prunedale, I was born in Carmel and went to School and lived in Pacific Grove, between Monterey and Pebble Beach. My childhood summers were spent in Big Sur where my parents operated a campground owned by by grandparents. My memories of this area I enjoy much more than what is here now. There use to be a saying that went like this: Carmel by the Sea Monterey by the Smell And Pacific Grove by God!! If one knows what that means they know some of the history of the area. I still have family in Big Sur along with many friends...it's really to bad so many have discovered it's beauty...but how can we blame them? Enough said, Scrapps
